Netgear DGN2000 won't connect

Hi,

My Sky router has been really flaky recently, so I bought a Netgear DGN2000 to replace it. I got my username and password out of the original Sky router using the cm9 password generator.

The new router is set up, and connects to the Sky network fine. My problem is that none of the computers on my network can access any internet sites.

The router itself has been assigned an IP by Sky, and I can do a DNS lookup and ping sites from the router control panel. However, if I try to ping from a computer on my network, it's 192.168.0.1 that sends the reply.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Do ipconfig /all on one of your WS's and post back results?

Did an ipconfig /all and noticed that the DNS server was set to 192.168.0.1. Oops. The router didnt pick up the Sky DNS server info automatically, so I had to set it manually. Odd, because the DNS servers were in the router info as being correct :s

But why didn't you just ring sky and get them to send a new router if your existing one had failed?
