    Treewalk DNS

    Hi everyone!
I'm thinking of using the Treewalk DNS program for whatever tiny speed boost it gives and also because you never know who's controlling the internetz...
Anyway, are there any security issues with doing this? And does it actually work?
I've seen it supported by a few guys here on hexus but want to know more about it.
    Thanks

    Explain?

Why is caching the DNS results from your ISP/openDNS/google any different from getting them straight from your ISP/openDNS/google in that respect?

In fact, don't browsers already DNS cache?

Yeah hehe I was just being a bit tinfoil-hattish in that respect! It probably doesn't make a difference.
So would there be any benefit to it at all?

You could try this to benchmark DNS servers and pick the fastest, you can add more if you know them and they aren't included: http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm
