    Freestart PLC

    Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place for this but.....

Just had a phone call from a company called Freestart PLC offering to build me a 17 page website with online payments for £49/yr. I had a look at their website (www.freestart.com) and it all looks fairly legit...

Has anyone heard of them or had dealings with or even suggest a better company?

    Thanks everyone

    Ade

    Re: Freestart PLC

Why did they offer to build you a website?

That price seems a lot cheaper than their current site offers (£199 + VAT p/a)

Their whois info matches their contact details if that's any help.

    Re: Freestart PLC

Hi im new to this forum.
our company has had experience with Freestart. and was sucked into there cold caller.
Beware! i wouldnt bother! we needed a new website for our company and what a total joke.
It took 8 weeks to get the basics sorted and every time i called to cancel they kept teling us Dont cancel "we will sort it so dont cancel". never got done.
Only SUCKED IN AGAIN with extra costs they informed us they will improve but still didnt provide the service.
We finaly had enough, and informed them thats it! we wish to cancell and require a full refund as they have not provided the service as agreed and informed by the idiot caller at the begining .
We have been informed we are now outside the cooling off period so cannot give any refund!
We have forked out £1000 on the website that is total(excuse the pun) Sh...
Any true advice? "keep well away from them"
any company cold calling will suck you in get your money and fdelay you cancelling till its to late for a refund.

Beware of Freestart. we we sucked in, and regreted it ever since..

    Thumbs down Re: Freestart PLC

FREESTART PLC are terrible. Hopeless customer service and a disastrous Facebook store. Don't fall for the sales chat.

What was more annoying was the continuos sales calls even after I had purchased the store. I aske them to stop calling me but they took no notice. I had to complain to the General Manager Alan Laithwaite. He admitted I had received "many calls" after asking for them to stop. He doesn't mind me giving his phone number so you can contact him if you also have aproblem with FREESTART 01942 406100 x192.
