Theres a new firmware out for the USR 8000A (8000-02) Broadband Router/4 port switch available now - v2.7, 2.6 was carp.

This is of note for people who got this router from BUFF in Bargain Hunt as well as anyone else who has one, I know theres at least half a dozen or so people on the forums who have this router.

I've been using the new firmware for a couple of days and have no problems.
I'm using mine with an analogue modem and had to re-enter the dialup phone number, it saved the rest of the settings, but not the phone number. So you might have to do the "primary setup" again
