    aidanjt, what's wrong with the internet? How is it "stressed" and "bloated"? I'd say it's thriving and has become one of the best technological advancements of the 20th century!

    Thing is - I dont want a provider who caps my line - I would prefer a slower line without caps

    The internet is THE greatest technological advances of all time, and posibly will ever be.. I'm not disputing that.
    What I am disputing is the purpose in fitting fatter and fatter backbone pipes to carry extra wastage which continues growing.

    In short, if the water/sewerage companies operated like ISP and backbone routing companies we would be up to our eyebrows in sh*te.
