It is, yes, what do you want? blood?
Pipex offer free set up on all their products with no contract. The catch is if you do cancel within 12 months, there's a £60 charge. In that respect they're no different to ZEN except ZEN charge the fee upfront.
If they don't get you coming, they'll get you going.
Hmmm, I suppose those are pretty equal then, and i think Zen only charge £50Originally Posted by Beach
Thanks for that, I might steer clear then.Originally Posted by jimborae
And it must be bad if you wish you were still with ntl!

The problem with higher rates of ADSL is the distance from the exchange. The more cable the more attenutation, which ADSL is susceptible to. NTL on the other hand run to local areas over optical fibre. Then the signal is transmitted freshly as it transfers from optical to copper. Many moons ago when I worked for Nynex (one of the forerunners of NTL) the longest copper run was only about 800 metres. A snip for ADSL and probably one of the reasons that NTL's speed is so constant. Thing is, with that kind of infrastructure I'm surprised NTL isn't offering an 8 Mbit service.

Don't forget that ZEN like quote prices exclusive of VAT. It'll be £58.75 when you add the VAT on.Originally Posted by Marcos
