So...you know how Zen have no limits....just how unlimited are they?

Let's just say i'm going to easily pass 30GB in one month, maybe even 3x that if given the go ahead.

Well, since you CAN get 30GB/month limits, I'd have thought unlimited would be more than that.

What the hell are you downloading!

Anyway just keep going, the most that will happen is you will get a warning and told to calm down. Unless you have done this before.

Be careful what you download on Zen. They're not watching everything you do, but they'll act upon any copyright infringement notices they receive. Apart from that I've done 100gb in Linux distros before and not heard anything from them.

But its rare that they'll get those notices from newsgroup downloads right?

Marcos....I'm sorry to have to slap you for this but 'm gonna.

    SCHLAP

It's becoming CLEAR by your constant attention to download limits that you are downloading some HUGE amounts of stuff.

Please....do NOT discuss it on Hexus anymore,.

    Cheers

Apparently zen are fine no matter how much you download. They dont watch but if they get notices from RIAA et al. they will ignore the first one, straight in the bin and act on the second one...so be careful (mind you thats much more leniant than most ISPs who come down on the first one).
This information is not guaranteed, but came from a resonably accurate source...

So then, don't download stuff that will get your ISP a letter from the likes of the RIAA and it won't matter how much you download!

Is the RIAA international? I thought that was the USA side of things?

Technically it doesn't matter whether they have any jurisdiction in this country, they'll just send a polite email to the ISP and get them to threaten you.

They'd just refer it over to the UK version tbh.

Tiscali sent me an Email last month, said I went over there 30gb limit, even though they claim they do not cap anyone. They said I went over it by 20gb or so. I think its unfair becuase most of that downloading is done during the night, when im asleep....
