I got a letter from ntl the other day saying that the 750k service is going up to 2Mb for the same price I just hope they can keep the service up.

This has been in place for a long time now, I've been on 2mb for about a month for the same price

If you connect via cable modem and not STB you can do it via their tier migration site, they just kept it quiet

The last time NTL promised to upgrade my speed from 1mb to 2mb it turned out it wasn't available in my area, so they dropped my speed to 750k.

But it did get a lot more reliable. Ho hum.

400k now I believe, or something like that, but in reality yes it has, a little

And they stated that eventually everyone will auto-upgrade, unless you were on their slowest service, which you could choose to upgrade to 1gb but be imposed with a 3gb a month cap, or something, cant quiet remember the technical details.

Cableforum.co.uk, digitalspy.co.uk forums would be worth checking out for more details.

Is there a download limit on the 2mb and 3mb speeds? I heard it was 1 gig a day.

I've had 2Mb a while and it's awesome. The speeds are fantastic. Everything just happens instantly

    The upload speeds are quite frankly shocking (1mbit - 100k, 2mbit - 200k, 3mbit - 300k) but hey, what can you do.
