plusnet pissed me off when they changed their contract. Person i spoke to was very rude, we had happly been on unrestricted 2mbit for £35 a month, then they decided that 'heavy users' like my student house, were going to be booted off it, and onto one with p2p ports blocked. I played hell, they said no dice, showed that the IP i'd routed to tom's laptop had been running limewire or some thing (DAMN YOU TOM!).

But as it went to £25 a month, and it didn't effect me (SOCKS to my london personal box) saved some dosh.

F2s, excelent service, parents been with them for nearer 4 years now.

F9, went crap in about '99.

Clara, good if you've got dosh to waste.

zen, people who recomend them, don't remeber what they were like in '00

compare your isp choices - i'm with eclipse and happy - but they aren't the cheapest.

    Nildram/Zen are both excellent imo.
    Plus.net are also very good.

Glad your avoiding Bulldog - I am currently with them and have been for 3 months however at the end of the month I am transferring the phone back to BT as I have had a few faults with the telephone service, ie no incoming/outgoing calls, echo and noise on the line.

The Broadband as mostly been ok however when first activated couldnt get any connection for the first 3 days, called the CS department to complain and cancel the service. I was then advised that I would need to email to cancel the service, I replied how can I cancel with no email to which the CS rep advised me to go to an internet cafe....... needless to say I escalated the call to there manager.
