My brother and is house mates are getting telwest bb and they need to wireless network it. I told them to send back the adsl modem/router because it was the wrong one right?
So what modem/router do they need now? (must be at least 4 port)

Read the customer reviews. Seems most that have purchased are happy.
Scan are doing the KCorp routers on their today only page and funnily enough the offer is for today only:

The KCorp are excellent routers (PC Pro A List for ages) and at £33 its a bargain as normal price is over £40 (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=267047)
Dont go wild on the connection with BY. Everyone is being upgraded. 2 and 4mb up to 10mb. 1 mb becomes 4mb and 512k becomes 2mb. All at no extra cost!!! Infact the 10mb is gonna be £15 cheaper than 4mb!!!
Snaga - do you have any information on when us Blueyonder users can expect to receive our line speed upgrade? I'm in Liverpool, and heard that everyone would get it before Christmas, but different areas will be upgraded at different times...
Well mate, from what they told me, everyone should have Teleport by September, so im assuming it should hopefully be around that time.
Heres the blurb from BY

Looking at Jan-Feb 2006 for all the upgrades to be completed, so somewhere between now and then ^_^
Keep your pies on http://www.blueyonder.co.uk/status/summary.do for updates.
I'll get any router from linksys or d-link. Pretty easy to setup and good support
I've just been upgraded to 10mb and use a Linksys wrt45G. It's stable, small and just works. Plugged it in, visited the set up screen, didn't really change much and then off it went. Cost £50 about a month ago from PC World but you can probably pick it up cheaper if you hunt around online.
