I've found virgin are awful - with service, speed, outages and billing all being messed up for me.

Moved over to Be* broadband, and I'm seriously happy

Re: Broadband with incoming calls only?

I had BT's incoming calls only tariff for years and paid only £11.00ish per qtr AND received Tiscali broadband. I've changed address and BT changed my telephone number and Tiscali say they can't provide me with broadband as my line is incoming calls only. I called BT who said that there was no possible way that I could have received broadband with an incoming calls only line all those years!

I'm gutted coz now I'm left with no broadband and as I was in contract with Tiscali I still had to pay the remainder of my contract - so I switched it to my Mums address so I wouldnt be paying 'dead' money but she lives 10miles away! lol!

Does anyone know if mobile broadband is any good? I'm a heavy user by the way my laptop is perm on!

    cheers!

If you're a heavy user then mobile broadband will cost you an absolute fortune. It'd be cheaper to just get a phone line put in and then not use it for voice calls.
