how do i find out if my exchange is LLU activated? Also what exactly is LLU and what speeds are possible at the min with ADSL2? Only it sounds like my cup of tea if i could get it. Problems with being in N.I though is that they always take their time getting the faster services here. No sign of 4-8mb lines etc.

I have just joined and in my first week am already at about 6gb of downloading.
I hate the way they include everything in their calculations, from web browsing to gaming - anything that comes down gets logged.
I am sorely tempted to stomach the £40 set up fee and bugger off to Zen!
I will give them until the end of the month before i do anything.
The thing that really gets my goat is that there is no mention of their fair usage policy on their website before you join - sneaky bleeders!
'Speak softly and carry a big stick'
to be honest the fair usage scheme shouldnt really effect most people because 30gb peak should be enough for most people, plus you have the all the off peak bandwidth. Ive used over 20gb in the last week which is alot for me!
the FUP doesnt really concern me its the fact that the quality of the service has decreased rapidly in the last few weeks! - High Pings, Slow Speeds.
Zen ftw.
Well im already over the peak usage limit for the 4th month in a row and ive only been with them for 4 months

I'm off to Zen.
Plusnet released my MAC code this morning. Fed up of them shutting my ftp space down without warning.
I am currently with Plus net. I think the most i've hit is 60gb, last month i hit 43gb and this month ( resets on the 18th ) i'm only hit 2.96gb so far.
I have also installed Plusnet at approx 12 other locations and if they want to play funny buggers with me i can easily change all the other sites to a different ISP.
I will keep a close eye on Plusnet, they used to be so good!!!!!!!!!
Might be forced to move to Zen.
