Me too my Zen is live and working. However, I am starting to feel the effects of 50:1 contention - maybe I'll reboot the router today and see if that has any effect. From around 4pm till around midnight it feels like I'm lagging a bit more, and even P2P speeds aren't great but no where as crappy as Plusnet. I'm quite happy
Cheers, Mike
migration to Zen commenced.....
just got to wait and see now! lol
My neighbour's using PlusNet and I think he's not happy - like most people.
I've been recommending Eclipse and have sorted out installs for a couple of relatives.
Anyone else tried Eclipse?
Just saw this thread and thought I should log into the PlusNet portal....

WTF? This month I have had no PC except for my wife's laptop for the past 2 weeks and I am already on half my bandwidth "allowance"? I assume that my allowance is only 1GB despite being on the Broadband Premier upto 2MB line?
Does this mean that when my new rig is up and running and I am playing BF2 that I am going to be shafted?
Looking further through the site I used nearly 14GB in Oct-Nov so I guess the limit is higher.
*sigh*
Looks like I might be too. Damn bulldog and their inability to bill me correctly EACH month. Come on for gawd sakes, your a business yet you cannot set your systems to take the "direct debit" I've sent to you 4 times now each and every month.Originally Posted by CocoPops

Zen, no limits, Migration supported and 2 Mb for a good price until my ADSL2+ arrives in June
*waves*... bye bye Bulldog
It's looking more and more like I may be joining you guys on Zen - I've had just about enough of Plusnet's flaky CGI platform, which is now the only reason I'm still with them. I'll migrate my sites and go back to paying a monthly fee, then migrate to Zen I think.
Just had confirmation of migration to Zen....
5days and counting
last month i got put on level 2 within 1.5 weeks, tomorrow the month ticks over and i get uncapped again, its a bit of a joke, i to would move to Zen if it wasnt that im moving in 4 months for definate and i wouldnt be able to get a years contract. Can you get a monthly contract with Zen?
Yep Zen do month to month contracts.

24hrs to go til migration
im not too happy with Zen atm. Getting loads of ping spikes during cs:s and my connection dropped to under 512 speeds the other night. Fixed itself next day but if they dont fix it i will only be with them for a month.
