Teredo Tunnel created itself?

Hi guys, just playing with an application (GBPVR) for my tv card which has a little server built in to host pages allowing you to set recording etc.

When i looked into my ipconfig today there was a Teredo tunnel present which i hadnt set up. I'd set the router (3Com) to open the relevant ports for GBPVR and also to forward all traffic on these ports to the htpc.

Can this tunnel be setup by the router? Just quite interested how the tunnel got setup as i certainly didnt do it and nor did the tv card app. (intially got quite worried, now just curious).

I know thats a bit of a ramble but could anyone who's used one of these tunnels shed some light.
