25 here....and to Zak's point about not being ready, I think the accepted wisdom is there are only varying degrees of not being ready - I don't think anyone is prepared (physically, mentally, financially) for kids, but it's amazing how quickly you learn

Well said, its one big learning experience and no amount of books or advice prepares you for it! Its a challenge, but it is definitely not impossible and having been a reluctant soon-to-be father when i first heard my gf was pregnant I couldn't imagine a life with her now...thought i do miss the good nights sleeps!

I remember my girlfriend telling me clear as day (I was 22 and neither of us had finished uni): "are you sure?" I asked; at which point she passed me dozens and dozens of positive tests. Pretty sure.
Obviously not planned, and baby and her subsequent sisters have made it all a little stressful. But truly the best thing that has ever happened to us.
