I just got an exactmat with wrist rest from kustompcs.

Awesome double sided pad with little non slip rubber feet. (One side for 'speed' and one for 'control')

Also the wrist rest is extremely comfy much more so than any i've used before.

    Would definately recommend

That'll explain why plain glass doesn't work

    Thanks muchly

I might just buy one, but i have a spare sheet of 300 x 280mm glass from an old picture frame that needs using

Stick some rough cloth or hessian underneath the glass and you're sorted. Could try a kitchen towel.

Bought my mousemat from Asda. Most there were cloth, apart from this one glassy optical mouse mat. Works very nicely.

I'm using an Alienware branded fUnc 1030, was pretty cheap and does the job brilliantly.

I have an IceMat2 with an optical MX-518 and it works just fine.

I've not heard of any problems with the black version, think the white one caused some headaches...
