Good Mousepad for Laser Mice????

I just got an exactmat with wrist rest from kustompcs.

Awesome double sided pad with little non slip rubber feet. (One side for 'speed' and one for 'control')

Also the wrist rest is extremely comfy much more so than any i've used before.

Seriously, texture is more important than colour - so choose which ever colours will look the most textured under red light.

Stick some rough cloth or hessian underneath the glass and you're sorted. Could try a kitchen towel.

Bought my mousemat from Asda. Most there were cloth, apart from this one glassy optical mouse mat. Works very nicely.

Tried that, gave up lol. Off to buy an icemat when i buy my new system. Thanks for your help guys

I use an Icemat v2. It works perfectly with my MX1000, but normal infra red optical mice don't seem to work on it.

I have an IceMat2 with an optical MX-518 and it works just fine.

I've not heard of any problems with the black version, think the white one caused some headaches...
