best thing really is phone wherever u bought it from in the morn and explain, depends where u bought it from cos diff places have diff methods of RMA'ing.

the problem with returning to the retailer is that the company is small and all the technicians who work there know me and knew i was taking a zalman fan 3 days ago to o/c the CPU.
But can i directly return the mobo to the manufacturer though?
Well do they know that u have used the board, actually had it up and going? Cos u said the pins seemed dodgy when u got it. So tell em u thought that was normal and u tried installing whatever last night and it wudnt boot at all. There was obviously a problem with it in the first place cos the pins shud not have been bent at all.
I doubt they will assume that by trying to OC the CPU that u wud have bent some pins
ok mate thanks for your help. I will try and persuade them to accept the board back. But the only problem is that they might tell me to wait a long time as they will not only take a few days to test the board, but they will then send the board back to the manufacturer and expect me to wait till they get another one.
I'm not saying you did it, but if it looks like you did the shop won't RMA it, and I think there's a good chance that the shop might think that.
@ redddraggon - I agree mate, but its worth a try. If worse comes to worse, they'll simply refuse to give me a new one and I'll then try sending it back to the manufacturer.
Oh btw, can someone please help me choose a mobo incase i can't return this? The link is
www.cclonline.com
The max price i'm willing to pay upto is £70. The mobo must have:-
good o/c features
socket 775
sata and ide options
pci express
Its hard at that price to find a proven OCer. Im not great with the diff boards anyway but maybe some1 will find something at that price
Interestingly, i am looking for about the exact same motherboard with:
good o/c features
socket 775
sata and ide options
pci express
the gigabyte ds3p?

It seems very overpriced on this site tho.

Cheaper at scan, and you could get free delivery.
It does seem a bit expensive.
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=551602 same thing on Scan for £76
lol snap!
