    A USB headset is probably the best option if you dont want to be messing about at the back of the pc swapping audio cables all the time. Windows detects them as another sound card which makes setting them up very easy.

    I'm currently using the Logitech Premium 350 USB headset and have no complaints

    I'm only on the second set in as many years, but those were 90p more than the last ones....

    I know what your saying though, just didn't want to spend big and find out they weren't up to much, as it happened the 3 quid-ers are fine
