need silent... keyboard lol!

Months ago, i started making my computer quieter, replacing fans etc, water cooled, allsorts - its still audible but its 100 times better than ever before.

Now my wife is complaing about my typing being too loud!! I currently have a logitech mx3100 combo for mouse and keyboard but i need to get a silent keyboard and as my mouse is flaky, i think a combo would be a good option.

any advice? looks are semi important, wired/wirless isnt important at all.

The saitek eclipse 2 i have is quite quiet..deffinatly soft touch but I wouldn't say its silent...

It helps, but no cure for nimble touch typing though ...or ugly pointy bat ears.

I use an Enermax one - which is a laptop style key on and it's a lot quieter...

I got one of them for work and the only part of the keyboard that makes any noise is the spacebar. (assuming you mean the Enermax Aurora, gorgeous keyboard!)

I'd also suggest something like Logitech's laptop-style keyboards. Scan has them for preorder, 9 pounds something.

I have a £5 microsoft keyboard which I love, but it sounds horrible to type on. Very hollow and plasticy. Those logitechs are good. Although I suspect most expensive keyboards would be pretty quiet. There might be cheaper alternatives though. Like maybe puring candle wax into your wifes ears when shes asleep.
