I think you need to have a day off!

How can you recommend a PSU when you obviously know nothing about any of them.

Seasonic make the Corsairs ......

I would love you to tell us why you recommend them...is it because loads of other people have??? <<---I think so!

Re: PSU Question

just got back from Scan with my new 720W Enermax Infinity. The reviews say even at 100% load the voltage never dropped. Looks like the best PSU around and as my g/f is stumping up the cash (she was on the PC when it died so she felt like she should pay) I thought "What the hell"

lol

oh and before you say "you tight bastard!" she doesn't know it yet but I am taking her to Vegas in November....

I just don't think the Corsair are quite in the same league as the Enermax at the moment and why buy anything if its not the best, false economy in my eyes.

Re: PSU Question

I changed to the corsair psu's after using the enermax range because i had 5 enermax psu's die on me within the space of 2 weeks, and no, there wasn't any storms going on in these weeks. Good psu's when they work, but had too many fail on me to feel safe with them any more.

Re: PSU Question

read jonnyguru reviews, the Corsairs are reviewed there, as are Enermax Infiniti models. A well known highly respectable site (they even open the PSUs up and inspect the insides unlike many other PSU reviews), I'm not saying the Infiniti range are bad, but to say they are "the best" or far better than Corsairs is inaccurate to say the least, IMHO of course, but many will be agree with me there.

Either way, your psu will serve you well, enjoy

There are MANY sites internet wide that arent as 'unbiased' as you think.

I have crossed paths with Jonny many times and i would bet that, although he knows his stuff, a few quids bunged in the right direction changes opinions.
Also, i'll be willing to bet he doesnt use Corsairs in his rig(s).

Tomshardware is 'well respected' but no-one in a sane state of mind would believe most of the stuff there.
