    When clocking memory, you have to clock all the sticks at once, you cannot clock each stick separately. As such, the system is limited to the lowest performance values of all the sticks. The mean time to failure of any part of the complete memory system also is decreased.

    However, as others have said, it is debatable how much impact this would have under practical, real-world, conditions, especially if quality memory is being purchased in the first place.

    Adata are fine. Kind of a like a GSkill style brand - they'll pop up with some awfully good stuff (performance:value) every now and then - this seems one of those nows.

    True, but with 4 matched sticks that would not be a problem (speed/timings matching etc).

    I am not convinced by you siting a mean time of failure being decreased. Whether you have 2 sticks or 4 sticks the failure time and chance is identical.
    What your suggesting implies that a car is more likely to need a new tire than a motorbike on the basis that it has more wheels!
