    Yep...thats the cooler.
    I have fitted them on a fair few ABIT boards aswell.
    IP35-E's
    IP35-Dark Raider's
    X38 QUADGT's

    Fitted on all of them well with no issues.

    Why do things become more complicated the more you look into them?!

    Whats the difference between the nvidia chipset boards and intel ones? which is better?

    would the nvidia ones give better performance for my 8800GT?

    I bought my mobo, a Q6600 G0 stepping, and 4gb of OCZ PC6400 ram for about 300 ish. And prices have dropped since then.
