Have this setup. Its beeping three times, continually.. indicating the gfx isn't sat properly. I've resat it numerous times. Sometimes getting the 1 Long Beep, and 2 short, indicating something else.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

The power cable for the exterior is plugged in. The 4 pin, and the 12pin are both plugged in and there is no power connector on the card from what I can see.

Is that your graphics card?
It seems to have a dual molex to PCI-E power cable - does the card require extra power (beyond what PCI-Express delivers)?
Your motherboard
Remember that you need connect power to the motherboard properly too (the 24 pin at the bottom plus the 4 pin close to the CPU).
Edit: The other thing to try is just using 1 RAM stick only. Sometimes one of the 4 RAM slots can be faulty...

I switched the card for another known-working card I have lieing around, and with that card in it posts fine.
Is there anything I can do to the new card, ie. Clean it somehow.. to get it to work.
I don't really want to have to RMA it. Will take a long time..
All connectors are attached to the mobo. The large one, and the 4 pin near the CPU. The card, from what I can see, doesn't have any additional power inputs.
If you've switched it out for another graphics card which works, then clearly your overall system is working, hence the problem is your MSI 8600GTS card.
If it does indeed have a PCI-Express power connector, it'll be at the opposite end the the face plate and DVi connections, and is about the same size as the 4 pin connector on the motherboard.

It does have a molex connector. Me being a tit and not looking properly. . Thanks. It seems to be working. Except the fact it seems to be showing the 2GB of ram at 256MB, unless that is the GFX memory.
Its reading memory fine. It was just showing the Gfx memory first.
Thanks for the help guys. . Very much appreciated.
