    Budget PC £300<

All I am using this PC for will be to play CS 1.6, WoW, Eve, Lineage 2 and maybe a bit of warhammer online... currently have a p4 3.0, 1gb ram and a 6600gt, wondering if its worth just upgrading to 2gb ram, a good graphics card (my mobo is pretty poor though, only supports pci-e x1, its a asrock 775dual-880pro) since it runs all these games just fine, also will be upgrading the hard drive, have a IDE drive at the moment but I heard SATA drives give greater performance. Also is the upgrade from x1 pci-e to x16 a huge difference? if not i may consider just upgrading and getting better HDD and ram than with a whole new build.

If its not worth upgrading, i would need new psu, mobo, cpu, ram, graphics card, hdd but for prices around 250quid there aren't that many options!

    any help is appreciated!!!

At only double the price that 4670 graphics card seems a bargain.

7900 was a cracking card in its day, but I wouldn't want one now. An 8600GT/9500GT is about the same performance but cooler and quieter.
