It's around £7 shipped from hong kong. Anyway Gelid says Scan is a distributor or seller of their products so Scan might have it soon. If only they had it now

I have no issue buying from Ebay personally but if I could get it locally for a similiar price I could get it quicker. If Scan do it soon I could add it to another order also and hence save on postage!!

Re: What is the best non silver thermal compound currently??

What about Tuniq TX2 ,Noctua NT-H1 and MX2??
Basically the candidates so far are:

    1.)Gelid GC1
    2.)Noctua NT-H1
    3.)Tuniq TX2
    4.)Arctic Cooling MX2

I did a quick rummage and found I do have some Akasa Pro Grade+ AK-TC 5022 Thermal Compound,Arctic Ceramique (almost finished though) and some MX1 also lying about. I have had these for a while so the newer stuff must be better??

According to tests and reviews Noctua seems to hold the lowest temp both idle and underload compared to AS5 and CG1.

    Just found this review:

    http://www.barrys-rigs-n-reviews.com...es/nt-h1/1.htm

The Noctua thermal compound seems far better than the Zalman thermal grease and Arctic Silver Ceramique!!

My bad then. I didn't think Gelid would just slap on retailers to their distributors page. Show us the temps with that Noctua paste though

Re: What is the best non silver thermal compound currently??

Usually any diamond power based compound will be better than non silver.
This will offer at least double the thermal conductivity of any silver based product.

Pretty sure there are some commercial diamond powder based TIMs available.

Ohh and Diamonds are an electrical insulator btw!!
