    Laptop for light gaming

    Hi

    I am looking for a laptop for web browsing and a little lite gaming doesnt have to handle FPS in HD or anything. Not sure what price point and who makes good laptops really.

    Thanks

    Im in the same boat as you really. Dell have been highly recommended and from looking around the best price v performance v build quality seems to be the Dell Studio 15 or Inspiron 15. Both come in 17" varients aswell (add £100 ish) and the studio comes in 13" if you want uber portability!

    Both around the £450-£500 mark depending on how you spec it!

    Studio;

    Inspiron;

    ps; there are added 10% off vouchers that come up on a weekly basis & the ''discounts'' change every Wednesday, but usually knock off the same amount of money, in varying combinations of free delivery/cash off etc.

    Yep Andehh's suggestions get my vote. A bit more money will start getting you into smaller 13.3" laptops with decent (enough) graphics.

    Re: Laptop for light gaming

    I got mt Dell Studio 1537 the other day and L4D plays fine on it, 100+ fps at lowest res dropping to 60 odd with hoards and 45'ish at 1280x800 dropping to 30 odd with hoards
    Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
