    DVI splitter?

basically, im trying to connect my PS3 and pc both via DVI at once and somehow instead of having to change cable every time just flip a switch or something to make it a whole lot easier...

    does a product exist?

no, i will not use composite (monitor is a 2407wfp)

Plexus 3 Port HDMI Video Switch With Remote Control read the reviews, think it should do what your after though

a splitter is for one source to multiple outputs btw, kind of the opposite of what you would want

    Re: DVI splitter?

Does the monitor support HDCP though DVI? If not, the PS3 won't work as Sony force HDCP over digital connections.

I've recently had this with my Dell 2405. I'm very pee'd off with Sony about it.

    Googled:

Looks kinda tacky, but will do the job.

I actually have the same problem as you. Might just connect up the monitor via VGA to the PC and see if it makes a difference.

    Re: DVI splitter?

Okay, looks like the 2407 is a funny TFT as they changed the Panel and controller in the latter revisions.

Check what revision your screen is. It will matter in this case. A PS3 does not give out a non HDCP signal over digital outputs. Your monitor must have HDCP support over its DVI port.
