has anyone used g.skill memory before? I've been looking at some on novatech for the core i5 systems and they're at least £15 cheaper than the equivilant corsair modules?

You need to go with this low voltage DDR3 RAM:

IIRC,the maximum voltage of the RAM has to be 1.8v otherwise the CPU will be damaged.
managed to get a GD65 board off so now just need processor etc to go with it. how good is g.skill memory? was looking at the set mentioned by cat due to the price compared to the equvilant corsair set. will the psus mentioned previously be adequate for this board?
something else i have just thought of is graphics card size vs case size. i've been looking at an xfx gts 250 512mb or an xfx 4850 card. which of these would fit in the coolermaster 335/330 case?
GTS250 and the 4850 are no longer than your mobo iirc. Same with the 4870, it's the GTX260 and onwards that are humungynourmous. It's about 10 inches long!
good stuff. just now need to decide between the 2 :s
tbh, with the SLi support and the fact that NVidia drivers are better as a rule, I'd go with the 260, the only reason I'm getting a 4870 is because my AMD board won't support SLi and I wanna stick another 4870 in at some point.
unfortunately the 260 is out of my price range so i'm looking more at a 4850 or a 250. i've posted another thread here looking at the options i've got
One thing to consider with the 4850, the standard layout for it has the power cables couming out of the back, so you do need 1-2 inches of clearence behind the card
ont the gts250 the power connectors connect from the side of the card which is less of an issue in most cases but can be a pain in narrow cases.
G.Skill is good memory

one other thing that has crossed my mind, i was thinking about getting a new psu for my pc (specs listed on the system thing) and using my corsair HX520 in this new build. its about 2 years old and has had moderate usage. any idea if this would be ok and what would be a good replacement psu?
