    x800 Bundle?

    Hi guys

I was just wondering if anyone new the kind of bundles expected with the European, full-retail Radeon x800 cards? I've seen a Sapphire card in the US reviewed which came with the Half-Life 2 offer (which is really what interests me), but in a European review of the same card was without that bundle, but still had other games with it, hence I doubt it was the lite retail package.

Anyway, I'd be grateful for any insight people could offer.

    Kind Regards

Im after an X800 soon, and tbh id prefer to grab an X800XT 'lite retail' if it existed and the price difference was say £15, most of the games they bundle arent of any real interest and it does seem like we wont be getting the HL2 bundle so..

HL2 will probably only cost £18 off Play et al so I don't think it's worth worrying much sleep over.

Obviously it will depend on brand, i think power colour are shipping one of the splinter cell series rather than a voucher.

    Hi guys

Thanks for your replies. It seems that the HL2 bundle may not generally be present after all, at least not in Europe (the offer was apparently dropped from certain XT cards a while back too).

As for lite retail or OEM versions, I haven't come across any stores selling such versions of the X800 just yet, but no doubt they'll start popping up soon enough, especially with the availability of the X800s all over the place next week (this week for some stores).

    Kind Regards

    Jonty

P.S. Sapphire's 'Toxic' range of X800 cards (US Only?) are apparently coming with Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, with the normal versions just coming with Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. Rumours of a Counter-Strike 2 bundle seem just that: rumour.
