What is the best looking computer case out in your opinion ?

I find the design a tad staid now and I tend not to like fully meshed fascias. Having used the Power Mac G5 and Mac Pros at work before perhaps I have just got bored of them. Maybe if they had a black one it would be nicer:

Personally,I find the Mac G4 Cube one of the nicest Apple designs:

Japanese cases are very good, see the windy case I listed, they also do some others is great colour combos

AFAIK,they are made in Japan and have exceptional build quality.

Personally I think apple laptops are great (but so are some of the more expensive normal laptops) the apple desktop/tower/imac's I think are ugly.

I think the chap responsible for the designs has now left(he was influenced by a famous designer who did a lot of work for companies like Braun) and it seems carbon fibre maybe used in some of the Apple designs in the near future.

So expect to see a new mod project coming soon™

edit: I also agree with CAT on the G4 cube, lovely looking, seem to remember they where supposed to be fanless and rely on convection currents for cooling, but would overheat, which was why apple dropped the design.

Imagine it with modern parts though?? I almost feel like getting one of them myself and modding it.

Just have to point out it's not grey, it's silver, well clear annodised aluminium.
The only grey case I know off has atm is the corsair Graphite 600T

again a great looking case, packed with nice features and a well designed layout, but not cheap.

Im noticing that a lot cases really dont support usb 3.0 at all , so I take it doesnt matter that much yet ?

I must confess Im not cube fan for anything other than houses , rubik cubes and maybe those cool arcade like tables, they just seem too frumpy or stout like a pissed of dwarf.

Yeah pencil grey hardly contrasts well though against black , a mid tone it is not, so its still looks ultimately black to me, its alot of money for boring case.

you can buy side panels but when you look at the cost its kinds defeats the whole point in modding IMO
