Ive tried a few voltage tweaks and drivers and i simply cannot get any more out of my card and have to accept that, in fact the latest driver made the OC unstable in BF3 so ive rolled back to the previous beta driver which got my highest score and i am stable again.

Should be, mine is stable at 1.265v with a very small vdroop @4.7. I really struggled to get 4.8 stable without pushing towards the TJMax on IBT.

Yeah, just not sure when I'll have time to play with it. Lot's going on at the moment.

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

Had a play with my 7750 and managed to push myself over 2000 (from 1985 at stock) with no more than a modest bump on the memory (5000 effective from 4500 effective). Based on that, though, I can't see me challenging any of the DX11 cards above me, and I'm already fairly well clear of the 5750 below me, so I don't really have anything to aim for beyond pure numbers

Also, given the FSP PSU in this case is around 8 years old, I'd prefer not to push it too hard Might see if a replacement can be had for sensible money (preferably one with an 80+ rating)....

Not really scaring anyone at the moment Jim

Also I believe 3Dmark does distinguish between the 7870s with the "XT"

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

I have recently changed my cpu to an I7 2600k and run the test to see how much of a difference it made, answer not much. Couldn't get it to work at 4.8ghz (windows loaded, nothing working) So run at 4.6ghz with a 1050/1250 on my HD7850. So the score is 4849 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/329786 which is just a 154 point gain but at least the physics score increased from 8749 (i5 2500k 4.8) to 11583.

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

Also went from a dual core to a quad core (i3 2100 -> i5 3330S), no real performance gains either in 3DMark, probably because it's a slightly underclocked low-ish power quad core (2.7Ghz 65W part).
