1090t @ 3.6 GHz, 7870 Tahiti LE @ 1130/1620
Damn, that 7970 is looking even more tempting now.
Must resist, must resist, must resist.....
I'd wait for the 8970 vs 780 battle in a couple of months. The 7970 is good but will be old hat very shortly
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Yep, hanging on for 8 series and Haswell but getting itchy fingers with them going back.
Why not go for a bang-for-buck approach: set yourself a budget, then work out how to get the most 3dmark points for the money That'd satisfy your new hardware and tweaking itch without spending big bucks
Yeah, I saw that. I'm also intrigued by Tarinder's hinting earlier.

Or possibly Atari.

Anyone still using older NVidia drivers, make sure you update to the newest version as it has sizable improvements to your score!

GPU clocks are actually 1050/1790
Could probs squeeze a bit more out of my GPU
Bagnaj97, can you distinguish the 7870 (LE) cards in the table (ie keep the (LE) )? They're actually tahiti cards like the 7970/7950 series. Not pitcairn like the normal 7870/7850.
I tried OC the memory...lowered my score down to 7000. Plus I read that there's not too much to be gained by OC the memory and it shortens the life of the card.
