Well i only included the .inf file for completeness if it's no find by searching your PC then you dont need to remove it. (As you dont have it anyway)

The only other thing's i can think of is to re-calibarate the joypad within Start - Control Panel - Game controllers

Take your time re-calibrating it make sure to get it exactly right and try NFSU again.

The other thing you could do is leave the joypad plugged in but go to Hardware manager and un-install the pad from there and restart the PC.

    Good luck

Last resort re-install windows clean and plug the joypad in and let windows auto detect it, i.e. no drivers.

I think the last resort would be reformatting my pc just to get this thing to work. At least pro evo works

The drivers for it are pretty pathetic, i bought my converter well over 8 months ago, but dual shock would crash my PC and NFSU, Rallisports challenge & Tony hawks 3 would not work with it until i removed the drivers and just used windows default (No dualshock) drivers..

Still you would have thought they would have fixed it by now, and you cannot get the drivers from anywhere other than on the disc you get with it.

Have you tried re-calibrating it yet?

I tried recalibrating it and still no use. I think I will leave it and when I get my new rig I will sort this pos out by not installing the poor drivers it comes with. I haven't tried gta vice city but does it work fine with the ps2 converter because I am waiting for san andreas to come too pc next year

Yeah it works very well except the analogue controls are the wrong way around so it's hard to move the characters view about.

I use the pad when driving and switch to keyboard & mouse for walking around

Just found this thread through google, anyone know if it works with NFSU2?

Also, does the touch sensitive stuff work on the PS2 Joypad, e.g when you press X harder it accelerates harder when on the pc?

    Thanks
    Ben

Well, that was strange, i didnt even read page 2, i just replied and you just happened to have posted about the same thing

I have emailed several sellers of different USB adapters and none of them have been able to confirm pressure sensitive support. They all just bring up the point that it supports the 2 analog sticks, i guess they just dont even realise the dualshock2 has the pressure feature

There's a thread with some fixes for NFSU and it seems to fix NFSU2 too

Yeah it seems to work just as well as on a playstation, just tried NFSU small movements make the steering turn less and pushing it hard nearly turns the car 180 degrees.
