    ive not heard of alot of probs with the leadtek.

    i would say i game mostly so AMD 64 it is.

    ive got 512 kingston hyper X pc3500 atm, and ive had no problems playing hl2 and doom3 on full gfx at all.

    Well if you are getting all this quality hardware then get at least a GB of ram, just put another 512 stick in. Alternatively if you do get the ASUS SLI mobo then its dual channel so mabe you could put in a matched pair of sticks, in the dual channel slots and put your current ram stick in the thrid slot for a cool 1.5GB of ram. The ram for that mobo starts at £100 for cheapostuff

    thanks alot for your help nvening,

    this is what im going for

    1) Leadtek 6800 Ultra (as i managed to grab one off the members market here )
    2) AMD 64 3500 Winnie
    3) Abit AV8 3rd Eye
    4) Anouther stick of kingston hyper x pc 3500

    Nice, u no that cash burning a hole in your pocket. I could put that fire out lol Oh and btw u will need some ear muffs for that ultra. (or a new fan heatsink thing)

    ive already got an NV5, but the leadteks are meant to be really quiet with all the copper

    well i read that the nforce 4 isnt much different from nforce 3, it just supports pci-e

    i got the mobo and cpu for 240 not bad.

    I would have suggested Nforce4, but the graphics card you've picked up has tied you down somewhat to AGP

    The abit 3rd eye board with a 3500+ will definitely last you a long time and also you've got good overclocking headroom there i'd say.
