    Electricity issue

    I have a 3 day old Shuttle SN95G5 version 2
    AMD 64 3000+ Winchester
    2x 512 Kingston RAM
    160 GB Hitachi HD SATA
ASUS V9400 128 MB grafic card
    NEC DVD RW 3500AG
    Windows XP pro sp2

I am not overclocking or anything like that.

Everything is working but my friend came over last night and as soon as he put his hand on top of the box, he said it is leaking electricity. I don't know if I ever would have noticed it because I wouldn't know what to look for.
When I rub my fingers on top of the computer or just above the top of the computer I can feel a current of some sort (sort of tingles a tiny tiny bit).
I want to know if this is dangerous and if it is a common thing fo SFF or if I am risking everything inside my computer every second I have it turned on.

I am new to building my own computer so I hope I didn't do anything wrong.
    ------------
One more thing: my hard drive is connected with SATA cables and it shows up as under Master Slave 2 n bios, but I am always getting the little symbol in the activity field (where the clock shows) that usually comes up when an external drive device is connectted to the computer (mp3 player or a external drive). I don't ahve any devices like that hooked up nor have I since I built the computer. when I click it a window for safe removal of my hard drive pops up me to stop activty for safe removal of the drive. Why in the world would my hard drive show up there?

Any answers to this would be very appreciated

Leaking electricity? Is it in a downstairs room? You might find it works better if you move it upstairs where the electricity is at a lower pressure.

Anyways... Sounds like a short to me too. And from the other symptom it sounds like it may well be from the USB ports.

What does USB have to do with my Hard Drive? Can you be a little more specific on what I should look for

The only usb I am curently using is a mouse and a printer (the printer was hooked up after this external drive issue happened)

The safe removal thingey is for USB or removable hard drives, so this would be the first place I'd look, in case the symptoms have a common cause.
