    Handy when you have a Cordless MX desktop with a goood wireless range
    That's what I'm talking about I have that setup on my BIOS also... with the newer system now a days, that's almost automatic in the BIOS feature, at least the good BIOS

    And... that remote looks G-H-E-T-T-O anyways....

    Did you need to set any jumpers on the motherboard to get that to work? Keyboard power-on doesn't work on my DFI LanParty, but there are jumpers to provide kbd power constantly or not. I'm sure that's the reason, just wondered if you can confirm before I experiment.
    DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D; AMD64 3500+ Winchester ;
    2x XFX 6600GT ; Corsair XMS3200XLPRO TWINX 1GB;
    Dell 2405FPW TFT.

    It's centered around a plugin for Winamp that allows you to control it through a COM (serial) port. I forget the name of the one I used, but on Winamp's plugin site, search for 'COM' or 'serial' and you'll probably find it (Only two I can find at the moment are COM Port WinAmp Control and COM'on WinAmp). Most of these plugins will come with documentation on the pinouts for the 9-pin COM port, and instructions on how to use them to make a control box. It shouldn't matter which guide you follow, as they don't seem to be program-specific. In addition, one guide (The guy used lego for his sample control box) gave instructions on how to simulate a modem's ring signal, which, if 'Wake on Ring/Modem' is enabled in your BIOS, will turn on your PC too.
