Been having trouble with our reception recently, until I figured that the aerial that we put up must be substantially heavier than the POS the installation guy put up, because the upright pole has bent & the aerial is now pointing at least 5 degrees downwards. Suppose I'm gonna have to go & bend that back, my dad is far too 'busy'.

I do love the way that Mac technicians gain access to Mac minis. You would think that they would have a special tool to do it, but guess what I was taught to use whilst I was doing work experience in a Mac Centre in Nancy? Yup you guessed it, a palette knife! I suppose using a cheap plasticky case saves on production costs though.

Nice, hehe I can't help think that wrist thing for the mouse looks like a bra.

Is that me or is that a tiny resolution on the LCD? Firefox literally takes up half the screen for the buttons at the top alone

    Cool My Workspace :)

First up, got the 'office' pc. Mainly used by the family, but also for work etc.
    Work PC
    Its a Dell, 64bit P4 3.0ghz, 1GB DDR2-533, 160GB SATA HDD, & DVD+-RW
Also in the pic is the new million-in-one HP thing, with wireless (&wired) network, you can scan. print, fax from anywhere on the Network.

Then we got my Webserver/Random Junk Host, currently being rebuilt with Win2k3 Server.
    Webserver

    Now for my PCs

    My Desk

17" LG TFT, great for pretty much everything. MX1000 & Icemat just about in view. Also the Home Cinema Speakers.

    Tower & Sub

Tower is the Antec P160, great case, loadsa room for everything. Also my MX1000 & Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard. Sub is part of the Surround Sound set (see below) PC is an AMD 3200XP (Barton) with a gig and a half of DDR-400 Dual Channel RAM, on an Abit NF7-S v2, SI-97 Heatsink with 92mm silent fan. Radeon 9600xt, (next thing to be upgraded) DVD-ROM & CD-RW drives.

    DVD Changer

My 5DVD Changer, part of a 600w Panasonic Surround Sound Set, great using the optical out of my PC, Dolby Digital Sound = HL2 crazily scary

    Oh and the rear speakers
    Rear Speakers

    My Media Center PC

Athlon 2000XP with 512mb RAM, not bad, its my old desktop 19" CRT for viewing of movies. 160GB HDD for ripping my own, legitimately purchased DVDs, before I end up scratching them. Also got a TV Card, which will work as soon as I install an Aerial point
    Media Centre & Server

To the right of that pic, my fileserver, just used to host images of CDs, incase I ever break one (happens all too regularly )

    Tell us what ya think

    Dave

    p.s. my first post
