finally got around to taking pics of my desk!
That's scary. I was just thinking that I'd post updated pics of my workspace and you've dug up an old old post by moi. That stand is called an iCurve and I've used it with 12", 15" and 17" pbooks no problems On to the pics...with upgraded speakers and a bit tidier room (threw the big MDF table out)...all proper wood now.
Jack you need to change the link to something like this to get it to display
oh and are those logitech speakers any good?
oh and the bold tag is [b] [./b] (removing the dot)
Heh, its code the forum uses to make things simpler (ie users don't have to learn html)
Quote is
[./quote] (bit in caps replace with who said it)
BSOD mike
thanks, just looking for it on the net and hopefully will be ordering one tonight, although now im faced with a dilema, is there anyway in which i can use just one keyboard and mouse (my g-15 and g-7) with my desktop and my macbook without having to unplug and replug them in each time?
Cause i really would rather buy an apple keyboard and mouse etc, but as u maybe able to see i really dont have any more desk space
any ideas?

The way I fixed 'this dilemma' was with this stand. When I need to use my pb I just open the lid and use the kb/trackpad. If I want to be a bit more comfy I move the g5 kb (wireless) out of the way and pull the stand a bit closer and it's great.
An alternative would be to look at KVMs but I don't think any 'bluetooth' KVMs exist yet, which would be awesome tbh.
Me spots a NAD 3020...
My desk at uni;
On the left is my Linux Thinkpad T20 (14.1") (though it's got the old Windows drive in atm) on which I do all my uni work (mainly coding Java), on the far right is my Windows 2k box which outputs to the two 15" Flatrons, & up on the windowsill is my Linux Shuttle XPC which is a media box & outputs to the 17" CRT which used to belong to one of my lecturers. I have another 15" CRT (also a freebie) which I'm gonna plug my Dreamcast into, but I haven't worked out where to put it yet! Oh & on the far left you may recognise the huge beige bulk as a HP LaserJet 4 M Plus, a mono laser printer sold to mid-size businesses in the 90's with a release price of $1600 (£32 on ebay, & much better than the crappy little bubblejets that all the other students bought from Argos).
The speakers that you can't really see are Logitech X220s, which are quite good for £30, but I miss my vintage Aurex amplifier & proper bookshelf speakers from home - pity the walls here are too thin!
The machines would be linked together via a Netgear RT314, however the connection runs 802.1x authentication & the old Netgear can't do that.
I have my 20GB FreeNAS server & a spare 750MHz slot Athlon under the bed as well.
Abd yes, I probably have the neatest desk of any uni student, especially for a guy!
