a8n new bios blues (oc)

sometimes computers annoy me .. im gonna try and keep this short

3000 + venice (200 * 9 stock)
A8N SLI D
2 * 512MB samsung good for 190x2 @ 2.5, 3, 3, 7 (pc2100)
2 * 512MB geil value good for 200x2 @ 2.5, 4, 4, 8 (call that an upgrade, lol)

just updated the bios on my PC (1011>1013).

old settings;

266 mem divider, 270 speed from 200, htt * 3 gave around 2450 CPU speed and 170 mhz DDR speeds (not bad for 4 512 sticks and cheap ones at that).
Timings were 3,4,4,9 or something, really loose :/

new settings

200 mem divider cause 266 wont work, whatever the settings, with a CPU bus speed of 220+. 220 seems to work but thats crap it was 270 before. What happened?

Anyone got any tips for me, or experience of using the 1013 bios and overclocking with bad mem, or any suggestions on which bios to downgrade to, since the 1013 is worse for me then the 1011 and i hear the 1008 is the last good one anyway...

Need to know why my DDR380+ memory wont run past DDR300 ish on a system that used to do it, now i've flashed the bios. More details above...

If anyone is overclocking a venice core CPU with 4 dimms on this mobo then maybe just tell me your setup!
