    Best Graphics Card for £150

    What's the best graphics Card around at the moment i only want to run it on 1280*1024,
    Im looking at getting it christmas time iam hoping to get the 6800gt if the price drops if not what should i go for with my specs?

    if you're up for flashing the bios and upping the frequencies the x800gto2 offers the best performance for £150 at the moment ....think it's pci-e only though.

    Available from overclockers (i know!) for £150.34 (inc. vat) + p+p

    when flashed and overclocked it will offer the same performance as a x850xt pe...

    To be honest, i thik its a fairly pointless question to ask when xmas is still nearly 3 months away. ATI's new X1000 series has only just arrived and this will shake the market up a bit. A lot can (and proably will) change by then, so i would ask again closer to the time.

    6800GT if you can get one at a good price.

    Mind you: the x800GTO2 is good: but its PCI-E only.

    So basically 6800GT

    I was just asking as my 9600pro plays all the modern games i just whish i could wack up the graphic options to see the games in all there glory.
    I have cheaked out a lot of reviews but 1280*1040 gets hard not much fps between a lot of cards.

    Best in that price range and AGP are

    X800GTO

    Or

    6800GT if you can get, you can always get a non GT model and try and overclock it.

    and if u can find it for under &#163;200 let me know! cheapest i can find it for is 205 may as well get a 7800 for a few quid more
