First time I've seen TR give 10/10 for a laptop. Looks like a very nice piece of kit though for the price, I'm a bit surprised its only got a X1600.

I have the 8104WMLi and after 3 returns and a replacement, I think it's the ideal laptop.

This newer model looks slightly thicker at the bottom than the one I have but I guess looks can be deceptive.

I wouldn't mind the additional features but I doubt I'll upgrade just for those ... If they'd given something slightly better, i.e. 7200 rpm HD or the option of a 2nd hard drive instead of optical i would have bought the upgrade
