If you want to tell people about your experiences, good or bad, with any store, posting on Romulus2 is not a bid idea.

I won't be offended at the question, if you won't be offended at the lack of answer of a detailed answer.

If you mean 9-5 job, employed by someone - no.

I'm a business consultant, I'm a writer and work for a number of magazines (including PC magazines) and national newspapers (sometimes under pseudonyms), and I'm a company director. So I'm my own boss, I work what hours I want, when I want, and if I want.

More than that, I'm not prepared to comment on in a public forum.

just read through this entire thread, and to be honest i really have to applaud you Vaul, because the way you have handled this has been excellent. i understand that it must be very frustrating to have spent a considerable amount of money on something for it not to work properly after some use.

as an aside, i use ocuk for pretty much all my computer purchases, as ive always found them to be brilliant in getting what ive paid for to me quickly, and supporting me after ive recieved it, as well as advising me when ive been looking at purchasing from them.

it just goes to show, everyone has their own experiences, i had previously had problems with a store a lot of people put foward as being excellent, but there we go.

I'm also experiencing problems with Overclockers. I returned a motherboard over a month ago and they still haven't credited me!

I've sent a number of emails but have yet to receive a reply.

ive spent a good £3000 there over the past years (not all for me) and referred another good £3000 (for friends and family), and i havent had a single problem with them.

as far as im concerned, thats enough said. I shall be using them as long as they stock whatever im buying at the time.

They are very prompt at shipping goods but are pretty poor when it comes to answering emails regarding returns!

I sent them a sales enquiry today and they replied today. I'm still waiting for a single response from a return I emailed about 3 weeks ago (return arrived at OC early Oct).
