    CPU Tester

I'm (at work) after a piece of hardware to test a CPU to see if it functions correctly, without using a motherboard. Setting up loads of test beds from P3/SocketA upto current day is a bit impractical, and was wondering if something like this even existed?

I've never seen one around, and I think this may have been raised before, but I'd just like to double check

    Many thanks

Well I know that they must exist at the fabs where they are made as they are tested then, but I have never seen such a beast for sale. I should imagine they make heavy use of undocumented features of the silicon, and as such would be rather guarded.
