Guys, thanks so much for all your help so far on this.....I've got about half the components I need for my HTPC so far, and slowly building it up.

I've seen one recommendation for a Hauppauge PVR250 or 350, but what do people think of the Leadtek PVR2000 ? It's got rave reviews on ebuyer's site

check it's compatible with whatever OS/software setup you're wanting to use (e.g. XP-MCE, MythTV, GB pvr)

The hardware MPEG encoding looks good, as does the hardware-->DVD recording thing.
I coudn't make out any mention of freeview, if that's an important feature for you?
I also couldn't see any mention of HDTV or component in/out, if those are important to you?

For SDTV/dvd/recording/analogue it looks pretty well specced. Personally I'd be wanting digital receivers rather than analogue, although as I use telewest for tv that might not an issue
