Here we go, final benchmarks of the E6300 until I get better RAM, and the more extensive high score -

that SuperPI was run at 3.4Ghz see the below validation. (shown as less due to speedstepping)

are you planning on running dual prime mate? Hopefully the ram will be able to be put on a divider in a new bios. Thats a nice healthy FSB you have with that mobo too and your ram is clocking like a demon.. Big pat on the back for you so far tbh

I had it running on Dual Prime for 8 Hours this afternoon.

Shows no signs of any instability, run several other tests and they all pass.

Thanks for the pat on the back.

Impressive stuff man, these Core 2 chips really are something.

I'm wondering if it's even worth spending the extra £100 on the e6600. After these results probably not!!!

Shame there are no budget boards that have a bios for these chips out of the box.
Really want to try one but can't afford the expensive boards and not buying a Celery just to be able to bios flash on a cheaper board..........so it looks like a 939 x2 for me.

    Nice one, James.

I heard these cpus were going to be good overclockers but these results are amazing.

Must resist...at least until more compatible boards are out.

In the meantime I'm going to sit in a corner and repeat:
'There's nothing wrong with my 4400x2.'
'There's nothing wrong with my 4400x2.'
'There's nothing wrong with my 4400x2.'
