Overclocking XP2200+ ???

Anyone done it and how stable have you got it ? I am a complete NOOB when it comes to this so any help and progs and utilities are appreciatd .. Its my brothers little gaming pc and he wants it to run faster and asI have just built a new pc and new house we cant afford to help him out.

Specs:

amd 2200+ processor (thoroughbred)
k7sa board
inno-3d 4200ti gfx 128mb (tweaked to 300/600 already using riva tuner) any help appreciated on this too

512mb 266 ddr ram

etc

any help appreciated and a step by step guide even better

I have dled riva tuner and powerstrip for gfx any help on that too ?

just go into the motherboard and hav a poke around. i would recommend a bios update from the mb manufacturer before hand though as that can fix a few problems but you should be able to get a bit of juice out of the processor

also you could try and upgrade the ram another 512mb of mem would cost around £30 and would give you a good speed increase. also if you want you can give the computer a good clean this will help you achive higher clocks but aiding airflow

I have ordered som 2700 ddr ram 512mb for it and its always cleaned every month as I tell him to do it

so it will have 1 gig soon and a 'tweaked' graphics card, its the procesor that the real oc help needed

But any help apreciated of course so ty for your post
