Should I spend my kids colledge fund on this board or just listen to reason and get a P5B-Deluxe?

No, it isnt worth the cash. I reckon about £80 would be a fair price.

The P5B deluxe is a great board and rock solid.

Agreed, I was hanging on for 680i... but it is too expensive and has problems - that will probably get sorted - but that extra cost simply is not worth it.

I ordered an ASUS Commando yesterday...

    Yum yum.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

So Commando trumps P5B-Deluxe? Who has it in stock? Gonna search for a few reviews now.

The commando is new, so there will be teething trouble, and there is nothing to say that it will be any better than anything else.

My money would be on the P5B as it is tried and tested, at least until the commando has been out a while.
