PSU suggestions for 640MB Asus 8800GTS?

I'm in the process of building a new system, and would like suggestions for a good/reliable PSU for the 640MB Asus 8800GTS graphics card, on the Scan site, it says
SCAN recommends 500W PSUs with, preferably, 4 individual 12V rails.
so i'm looking for a PSU with that, and it needs to be/have a 24pin connector,

this is what I have so far/will be buying:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2.40Ghz, 1066Mhz FSB, Conroe Core, 4M Cache (purchased)
    Motherboard: Asus P5B-E iP965 (purchased)
    Memory: Corsair® 2GB DDR2 XMS2-5400 TwinX (2x1GB) (purchased)
    Graphics Card: 640MB Asus 8800GTS
Sound Card: I will be getting a sound card, but I've not decided which one yet.
    Hard Drives: 2* 160 GB Samsung HD160JJ SpinPoint P80, SATA300, 7200 rpm, 8MB Cache, NCQ, 8.9 ms
    Case: ePower EPC-523 warrior (purchased)

It will be evenly used for Gaming, Recording Music, Listening to Music and Internet (of course )

Can anyone suggest a good PSU? I'm looking to spend ~£50-£70, willing to go higher if you think it's worth it...

    Thanks,
    Iain

    [EDIT]
I will also be purchasing some 80mm fans ...

That or the HX620 - depends if you are gunna add more hard disks/RAID arrays etc. Otherwise the 520w will be fine.

I've got the Seasonic S12 500w it is based upon, and its a brilliant PSU

The Enermax Liberty 500w perhaps? Ive had the 620w version and that was great.

Depends if you want modular or not really. I would say that the Corsair is probably the best for your budget though.

I'm not planning on raiding, or adding more hard drives, I may add more hard drives if I need to, I'll have a look at the Seasonic S12 500w

tbh.. I don't really know the difference between modular and non modular, and the advantages/disadvantages of being modular/non modular...

The advantage of Modular is that you only use the wires/connectors you actually need, reducing the number of cables in the PC, making the install neater, allowing better airflow.

Early modular PSUs raised questions about the durability of the connections, but this has never been proved to be a problem - especially with the build quality associated with Seasonic (who make the Corsair PSUs)
