As Skii says - The EVO OK, you can get more expensive one's. But I found this perfect for my needs on IL2.

The only thing I found is I cant seem to configure the U-Axis slider for throttle, but I think it's me being a dunce. But overall just PlugAndFly!

Probably - worth having a look around. PC world are mostly overpriced + sh1te buit actually quite good for joysticks, I picked up the Saitek Cyborg FFB for £20 there (£80 retail) so they do good bargains on sticks.

    Bit cheaper here

At the very bottom of the controls page you should see the 'HOTAS' section, that where you assign the U Axis to throttle.

Dude thats like having like 3 playboy bunnies ringing at your door, wanting you, but to lazy to get the door.
I got an ms feed back thingy. only thing realley important is that it should be movable in all direction ( must be possible to twist---> rudder) From then on its what you are willing to pay.

It is assigned Skii, but the POWER section of hotas reads -U AXIS. None of the other have a hyphen. Strange and annoying

Re-assign it, this time without the " - " waggling the throttle a different way removes the minus. I'm at work and i can't remember exactly but I'm sure thats what i did.

Throttle now working! But work this out - I have rudder as Z-axis, now to get the throttle slider working, I assigned HOTAS Power to -Z-Axis and it all works perfect! WTF?

Hey, if it works... go with it!

My X45 only works if I have a teacosy on my head, my left foot in a bucket of water and sing the French National anthem at the same time as worrying a small cat...

That is most odd Deckard. Most people tend to find the right foot brings better results. Possibly due to the fact it is further from the heart, (which when using joysticks is pumping frantically as you try to recover from a 500ft stall with 50m altitude left).

I prefer the Cyborg USB Gold to the Evo cos of where the throttle control is, mind u I snapped mine a few onths back to I have no idea where my actual throttle is...
