Guild Wars: HEXUS Guild

Bit of a thread resurrection, but i was wondering if anyone still plays prophecies, i've done all the main missions, but i'm finding it difficult to find good parties to do the last titan quests and things like the fissure of woe. Would be cool to meet up with some of the hexus people sometime if possible. Also does anyone have any advice for a good E/Mo nuker build.

Haha, funny you should mention. I Just recently started playing again (after about a year of inactivity).

Character name is Bertie Blessed.....I'm on whenever I get the chance, but I'm not in the hexus guild any more (as far as I know?).

I still need to do the two Titan quests in Ascalon and Lion's Arch, as well as a couple of Droknar's Forge quests. I think we need a way to reinvigorate the Guild - nobody's ever on, so we can't ever do anything as a guild. Of course, it's a self-perpetuating circle - I never go on, because nobody else does!

I'm currently playing Factions but havn't been as interested as I was with Prophecies. Going to be on in about 30 mins with Connor Shadowbane. Give me a shout ingame via the PM system and will see what I can do for anyone.

I gave up on the Titan Quests, found them to be a bit tedious so took him over to Factions. Thinking on doing just the story driven quests on Factions now just to get through it. I find it a bit pointless doing all the quests with being maxxed out with my levels and don't really need to change any skills etc so don't need the points.

Must admit that Nightfall has me intruiged, should be getting that in a few weeks time.

As for the guild I dropped users that hadn't been online for ages (sorry) but it still does exist, guild hall and all. We need to get some PvP players together for that side of things as I am more interested in PvE.

Anyone wanting to make a comeback, let me know and I will send out invites

does anyone use irc for guildwars? i'm more than happy to idle on there till someone is ready to do a mission and anyone feel free to add me as a friend on guild wars itself. I've started leaving guild wars running in the background while i do work so i'm generally on quite a lot. I still have sorrows furnace to do mostly, because it can't really be done with henchmen.

I dont play in the Hexus guild, but once my Nightfalls arrives, myself and my few guildies that we are will be on...

One guildie plays far too much, infact he bought just about every NPC for our guildhall lol

Currently waiting on the game starting up, 4000 files it is pulling in at the min whilst loading the Kaineng Center. Trouble is that with my ISP during busy periods it throttles the bandwith so its only coming in at around 3k per sec!

Could be a while!!!

Mind you I did download the latest nvidia driver about 30 mins ago and it flew in, might be the arena net servers with Nightfall getting released today so server load is high.

I now remember why I stopped playing.

Trying to get to a temple and have to go through the Shenzun tunnels to continue the story itself. However, with me being level 20 so is every creature out there and in large groups. Kind of sickens you off when you get to a bit that is so difficult to get past and after I don't know how many tries just keeps killing you till you are on a -60 penalty.

Aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!

On top of that what is it with them putting 2 afflicted ritualists in one group? As you are trying to kill one the other is constantly healing it. If you kill some of the other creatures about one of them just resurrect it. Bit of a no win situation.

Other than that it is the constant battles every few mins with level 20 enemies, starting to get tedious. I just want to get from A to B, can't even just make a run for it there are so many things after me and my party of henchies.

Giving up for the night. First Friday night off in a while and don't fancy tearing my hair out playing a game!

Much harder than the first two though, I think. It's nice that it's more challenging, but incredibly annoying, too. I'm level 20, as are most of you I'm guessing... What level hero do I get? A level 2 warrior. Yep. He dies pretty fast...

I'm still on prophecies, enjoying all the halloween stuff going on, plus i'm helping a friend get through some of the earlier missions, which gives me a chance to get some of the bonuses too

I play Guild Wars a lot, but my stupid work shifts means that I'm rarely online when 'normal' UK folk are playing.

I would love to join in with Hexites on missions and quests but I left the Hexus Guild ages ago because it wasn't active.

Just bought Nightfall but can't play BECAUSE OF STUPID WORK!

I'm taking a week off work starting Monday 6th Nov so will be playing like crazy then. If anyone wants to pm me I'll join up for some adventuring.

I won the Guild Wars Nightfall competition here at Hexus (thanks again guys) so I'll be playing over the weekend and maybe if it arrives over this week!

hi all, i need some advice, i've collected quite a few minor runes of vitae and attunement and as i understand they are stackable, but i'm not sure what to do with them. Should i:

a)wait until i can afford obsidian armour and use them on that.
b)use them on the armour i already have.
c)sell them.

The character they are for is an elementalist nuker.

Don't forget - with runes, you should be able to salvage them back after you've put them on (although that might have changed slightly in one of the updates)

Anyway, check how much they are at the rune seller - if they're relatively cheap, then you may as well just use them.

Oh, and so far as I was aware, runes for the same attribute aren't stackable, but that, again, that might have changed since an update.
